Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a Single Family Office (SFO) based in Monaco with main investments in Financial Markets, Real Estate and Private Equity. The CEO is looking to recruit a Director of Finance who will report directly to him.

He/She will drive strategic financial leadership, overseeing all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and compliance for the SFO.

Main responsibilities :

· Accounting and Reporting: oversee day to day accounting functions, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain robust internal controls and compliance ;

· Operational Oversight: enhance financial systems and processes, leverage technology for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations ;

· Investment Oversight: collaborate with investment advisors and family members to monitor and report on the family's investment portfolio, providing analysis to support decision-making ;

· Tax Planning and Compliance: working closely with tax advisors and internal counsel to optimize tax planning and compliance across jurisdiction, and optimize the family's tax position;

· Risk Management: identify and mitigate financial, operational, and other risks and implement controls to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with family office policies.

You should have at least 15 years' experience (of which at least 5 years' experience as Finance Director in a Single Family Office or an Asset Manager). The working language is English, and French, with a knowledge of other European languages being a plus.
