ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are recruiting German-speaking Content Moderators to join our client's team in Lisbon. This role involves reviewing and moderating online content to ensure it meets platform guidelines and community standards. Due to the nature of content moderation, this position requires emotional resilience as you may be exposed to sensitive material. Wellbeing support is provided to all team members.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

— Review and moderate user-generated content according to platform policies and guidelines

— Make rational decisions regarding content that violates community standards

— Handle content moderation queues efficiently, especially during peak promotion seasons

— Apply strong understanding of e-commerce principles in moderation decisions

— Maintain high quality standards while managing volume demands

— Provide feedback and escalate complex cases when necessary

— Work collaboratively with team members across rotational shifts

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

— Fluency in German and English (written and verbal)

— Strong moderation skills with attention to detail

— Excellent verbal and written communication skills

— Rational decision-making abilities with local market expertise

— Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and practices

— Customer service skills with empathy and professionalism

— Ability to cope with high queue volumes during peak seasons

— Emotional resilience to handle sensitive content

— Availability to work rotational shifts including nights and weekends

— Valid Work Visa (Type D) + AIMA Appointment Scheduled + NIF, OR

— Expired Work Visa (Type D) + AIMA Appointment Already Attended + NIF

— NISS is preferable (support available if needed)
