About the Role

A senior finance operations role supporting a global medical devices company from Porto. You will lead or contribute to the Order-to-Cash (O2C) function — overseeing accounts receivable, financial controls, and compliance frameworks within a structured F&A shared services environment. This is a specialist position requiring significant O2C experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity. Portuguese finance sector salaries at this level are competitive; the 1,757€ × 14 payments structure is one of the stronger packages currently available in Porto for German-speaking finance professionals.

What You Will Do

• Oversee and manage Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Accounts Receivable operations for the German-speaking market
• Ensure financial controls and compliance frameworks are maintained across all O2C processes
• Lead or supervise a team of finance operations staff
• Manage escalated billing, collections, and dispute resolution cases
• Produce financial reporting and analytical outputs for senior stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across O2C workflows
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners on financial operations matters

What We Are Looking For

• Fluent German or C1 proficiency (spoken and written)
• English C1 (mandatory)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 5–7 years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Finance Operations
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Deep knowledge of O2C processes, financial controls, and compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• EU ID, valid Portuguese residence permit, or equivalent
