About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mine Supervisor to oversee daily mining activities, ensuring that production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner. This is 3-month initial contract with the possibility of extension.

About you

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in mining.
  • In-depth knowledge of drilling, blasting, and heavy equipment operations, with strong commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills for managing diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of operators and technicians, promoting a safety-focused culture.
  • Plan and coordinate drilling, blasting, hauling, and equipment maintenance to meet production targets.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations, investigating and reporting any incidents.
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize operations and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain clear records of daily activities, production data, and operational reports for management.

Working Conditions

  • Fly-in/fly-out schedule with transportation from designated hubs.
  • Rotational shifts (e.g., 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off), with accommodation and meals provided on site.

Please note that you will be required to work in an industrial environment, requiring hands-on field supervision. This may include working at heights, dirty/dusty and noisy environments, and confined spaces. All personal protective equipment and site-specific training will be provided.
