Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree, preferably in a relevant Business or Management course, with experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, of both experienced and neophyte sales representatives, to consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Responsible and strong sense of ownership
  • Preferably with FMCG experience
  • Able to analyze data and insights into action to deliver KPI
  • Must know how to drive a 4-wheeled vehicle (manual or automatic transmission); and with an active drivers license.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth, hit sales targets and manage trade accounts receivables by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Design and implement a Strategic Business Plan that not only ensures the loyalty of existing clients but also expands the companys customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts and projections to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Be able to do compelling product presentations. Present the product or service to potential and/or existing customers professionally and expertly. / Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
  • Negotiate the terms of customer or sales agreements and effectively close sales transactions. / Be able to effectively respond to and overcome customer objections and denials.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. Be able to represent the company and product brands in a compelling manner.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
