Engineering Intern (co-op) AI/ML Platform Support

Why this role exists and we need you:

Our product is AI-first by design. You'll help us build, test, and scale core technical components from day one. This isn't just an internship- it's a seat at the table during the build phase.

Education & Eligibility:

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or a related field in Canada.

• Enrolled in a co-op program (Note: this is only eligible for unpaid co-op placement).

We provide real product experience, mentorship, and a standout portfolio- not busywork

What you'll do:

• Support feature buildout across front-end or back-end

• Prototype AI modules (e.g., parsing, job-matching, scoring systems)

• Experiment with open-source LLMs + prompt tuning

• Debug, test, and improve MVP performance

• Collaborate with the founding team on technical decisions

You might be an ideal fit if you:

• Background in Computer Science, AI/ML, or Software Engineering

• Comfortable with Python, JS, APIs, or cloud infra (AWS/GCP)

• Curious, reliable, and deeply hands-on

• Bonus: GitHub repo, ML models, or any AI side project to show

You'll learn fast, ship real code, and influence the future of intelligent hiring.
