A leading, confidential enterprise organization is building next-generation AI and Generative AI solutions—and is seeking a Prompt Engineer who can operate at the intersection of Python development, LLM optimization, and enterprise-scale machine learning systems.

This is not a traditional developer role.

This is an opportunity to shape how AI thinks, responds, and performs in real-world, high-stakes environments—working directly with machine learning teams, business stakeholders, and evolving LLM ecosystems.

What You'll Do:

• Design, test, and optimize high-impact prompts across evolving LLM models (OpenAI + others)
• Build and maintain Python-based libraries supporting AI/ML solutions
• Partner with SMEs and business leaders to translate real-world problems into AI-driven solutions
• Continuously refine prompt performance through benchmarking, testing, and iteration
• Monitor and improve model performance, scalability, and reliability
• Contribute to enterprise-grade AI systems focused on resiliency, observability, and performance

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development (production-level)
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering + LLMs (OpenAI or similar)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Object-oriented design
  • Scalable system architecture
  • Observability, performance, and resiliency
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred (Highly Valuable)

• Experience with multiple LLMs and prompt benchmarking frameworks
• Exposure to machine learning + vector databases
• Cloud development experience (Azure preferred)
• Background in FinTech or regulated environments
• Experience in global or distributed teams

Compensation:

• $66,000 – $73,000 USD base salary
• Full benefits package
