The Opportunity

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC is partnering with a top-tier global aerospace organization to identify a Global Logistics Manager who will own and transform international transportation strategy across commercial aviation programs.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting into executive leadership, where you will directly influence:

• On-time delivery across complex, multinational supply chains

What You'll Own

• Define and execute global logistics strategy across air, ocean, and expedited freight
• Own and optimize Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Drive lean freight cost rationalization and supplier performance
• Lead global trade compliance and regulatory alignment
• Manage 3PL / 4PL partners and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) strategies
• Strengthen supply chain resilience and risk mitigation frameworks
• Collaborate across supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams
• Track and improve KPIs, cost, delivery performance, and service levels
• Support commercial aircraft programs (no defense work)
• Travel ~20–30% globally

What You Bring

Required (Non-Negotiables)

• 7+ years in global logistics / transportation within aerospace or complex manufacturing
• Proven success implementing or optimizing TMS solutions
• Deep expertise in air + ocean freight operations and international shipping execution
• Strong knowledge of global trade compliance and regulations
• Experience with:
  • VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)
  • 3PL / 4PL provider strategy
  • Lean freight cost optimization

Preferred

• Aerospace experience supporting commercial aircraft programs
• Experience managing AOG (time-critical logistics)
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020
• Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience in multinational supply chain environments
