Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Buyer who can strengthen procurement operations, optimize supplier relationships, and drive cost and efficiency across the supply chain.

This is not a transactional purchasing role.

This position is designed for someone who can analyze, influence, and improve—balancing supplier performance, cost management, and operational execution in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do

• Process and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and sourcing activities
• Support supplier selection, pricing analysis, and cost optimization initiatives
• Develop and implement process improvement plans to enhance response time, quality, and efficiency
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support customer proposals and sourcing strategies
• Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality performance, and issue resolution
• Support continuous improvement efforts across procurement and supply chain processes

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA a plus)
• 2–5+ years of experience in:
  • Procurement / Buying
  • Supply Chain or Sourcing
• Strong capabilities in:
  • Negotiation and vendor management
  • Cost analysis and pricing evaluation
  • Analytical problem-solving and process improvement
• Proficiency with:
  • Procurement systems and tools
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, reporting, analysis)
• Ability to:
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively across internal teams and external suppliers
