QA Engineer - (Manual Testing Focus) - Fully Remote

QA Engineer / Software Tester Manual (with some automation exposure)

We are looking for a QA engineer a strong focus on manual testing to join a growing product and engineering team who are working on web and mobile platforms used by a global customer base.

You will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting test cases to ensure the quality and performance of their product. While the role will be primarily manual, we are looking for someone with exposure to automation tools (such as Playwright or similar) who can occasionally contribute to test automation when required.

This is a hybrid role for someone who thrives in hands-on exploratory testing but is also curious and capable of supporting automation efforts

The Role;

  • Designing, executing, and maintaining manual test cases across web and mobile applications
  • Conducting functional, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation (plans, cases, and reports)
  • Logging and tracking defects using tools like Bugsnag or Jira
  • Working closely with developers, product managers, and QA colleagues to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Contributing to automation test suites using Playwright (or similar) when needed
  • Continuously improving QA processes and advocating for quality best practices

Your experience;

  • Strong experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on manual testing
  • Experience designing and running test cases for web and mobile platforms
  • Exposure to test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and reporting tools
  • Good understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
  • Analytical thinker with great attention to detail
  • Experience working on e-commerce platforms or applications

Nice-to-have

  • Experience contributing to automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Knowledge of performance or API testing tools
  • Experience in the travel tech industry
