What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across guest villas, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and staff areas.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
• Diagnose equipment faults and complete repairs promptly to minimize operational disruptions and maintain guest comfort.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
• Inspect resort facilities regularly to identify potential issues and report equipment malfunctions to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logbooks, and work orders for all completed tasks.
• Ensure tools, equipment, workshops, and storage areas are clean, organized, and maintained to safety standards.
• Work closely with the Engineering team and other departments to deliver seamless maintenance support and an exceptional guest experience.
• Follow all health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental sustainability procedures while carrying out daily tasks.
• Participate in emergency response activities, mandatory training sessions, and other engineering projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an HVAC & Refrigeration Technician, preferably in a resort, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration systems, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to read, interpret, and complete maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including safe handling of tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and perform effectively under pressure.
• A positive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship while supporting an excellent guest experience.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance requirements and work outside regular hours when necessary.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade is an advantage.
