Bartender

Nova Maldives is seeking a passionate Bartender to join our soulful island resort!

What You'll Do:

• Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service as per set service standards.
• Expertly prepare and craft cocktails, beverages, and drinks following established recipes and resort standards.
• Innovate by creating signature drinks that enhance the bar’s unique appeal.
• Lead and oversee bar operations during shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and offer personalized drink recommendations.
• Actively promote up-selling and suggestive selling to boost outlet revenue.
• Deliver exceptional, friendly, and professional service to every guest.
• Maintain a spotless, well-organized bar area and ensure all tools and equipment are ready for service.
• Manage inventory levels effectively and coordinate timely stock replenishment.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with necessary supplies before and during service hours.
• Train, mentor, and motivate bar team members on product knowledge, mixology, and service excellence.
• Strictly adhere to legal requirements and resort policies for responsible alcohol service.
• Always follow and uphold the resort’s policies Procedures and service sequences.
• Complete all side work, including opening and closing tasks, ensuring operational readiness.
• Maintain impeccable personal grooming and hygiene in line with resort standards.
• Build strong guest relationships by providing memorable and personalized beverage experiences.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Bartender in a luxury resort setting. Previous experience in the Maldives will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for outstanding guest service.
• In-depth knowledge of cocktail recipes, beverage products, and responsible service of alcohol.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and service driven who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage bar operations during busy periods..
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and across multiple outlets when needed.
