Dive Instructor (Russian Speaking)

Nova Maldives is seeking a passionate Dive Instructor (Russian Speaking) to join our soulful island resort!

What You'll Do

• Conduct PADI courses up to Dive Master level in fluent English and at least one other language, following the latest PADI standards.
• Prepare and guide dives, ensuring all equipment, tanks, oxygen, and safety measures are in place.
• Assess dive conditions (currents, tides, waves) to ensure guest safety.
• Provide enthusiastic marine and dive-related information to guests and support dive/snorkel awareness programs.
• Assist guests with dive and water sport equipment care and rentals.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the dive center and equipment according to schedules.
• Manage bookings efficiently to avoid conflicts and keep activity schedules updated.
• Support water sport activities such as snorkeling, canoeing, SUP, and excursions like whale shark and manta snorkeling, dolphin cruises, and island hopping.
• Interact personally with guests, respecting privacy, upselling activities, and promoting current offers.
• Resolve minor guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Follow Aquaholics Standard Operating Procedures and assist with administrative duties, including reporting and incident documentation.
• Adhere to company grooming, safety, and communication standards, including punctuality and professional appearance.
• Participate actively in training sessions and uphold the resort’s mission and brand values.

What We're Looking For

• Certified PADI Dive Instructor with Valid Dive Insurance qualified to teach up to Dive Master level.
• Fluent in English and Russian language.
• Strong knowledge of dive safety, equipment maintenance, and ocean condition assessment.
• Passion for delivering engaging marine and dive-related information to guests.
• Excellent guest service skills and ability to manage bookings and operational tasks efficiently.
• Proactive problem solver with ability to handle minor guest complaints professionally.
• Team player with flexibility to support various activities and adapt to changing needs.
• Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and following safety and operational standards.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and support the resort’s brand and values.
