Sales Assistant (Shop)

Nova Maldives is seeking a passionate Sales Assistant join our soulful island resort!

What You'll Do:

• Warmly welcome all guests upon entering the shop, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that reflects the resort’s luxury standards.
• Actively engage with guests to understand their needs and preferences, offering product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
• Proactively promote and upsell shop merchandise and special promotions to maximize sales and contribute to overall revenue goals.
• Receive, inspect, and organize all incoming shipments and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality in line with resort standards.
• Maintain optimal stock levels by restocking shelves promptly and ensuring the sales floor is tidy, visually appealing, and aligned with resort standards.
• Conduct monthly inventory audits, prepare detailed reports, and coordinate with management to address stock discrepancies or reorder needs as per the instruction of reporting manager.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges while ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
• Maintain the boutique’s visual merchandising standards and ensure all displays reflect the luxury ambiance expected by resort guests.
• Uphold the highest level of cleanliness within the shop, including daily cleaning duties of windows, mirrors, fixtures, and floor areas.
• Enforce all in-store security protocols, health, and safety policies to protect guests, staff, and merchandise.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 1 years experience in luxury retail or hospitality sales, preferably within resort settings.
• Maldivian nationals only.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine ability to connect with the guests.
• Proficient in using POS systems.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain composure and deliver personalized service in a fast-paced environment.
