Job Title: Spa Manager - Nova Maldives

Nova Maldives has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader to join our soulful island resort as a Spa Manager.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless operation and strategic development of our Spa.

As this is a hands-on, leadership role, it requires you to have a proactive approach to maintaining our high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage the spa and wellness team, ensuring smooth daily operations and alignment with the Nova Brand Service Standards.
• Set departmental goals, monitor performance, and motivate team members to achieve excellence in service delivery and sales.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene throughout all spa and wellness facilities.
• Drive guest satisfaction by ensuring a professional, personalized, and memorable experience for every client.
• Handle escalated guest feedback and complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining brand reputation and service integrity.
• Oversee sales performance, actively promote spa treatments and retail products, and ensure achievement of monthly revenue targets.
• Manage departmental budgeting, cost control, and stock inventory to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members to build a motivated, high-performing workforce that embodies the companys values.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify development opportunities for team members.
• Plan and implement spa promotions, wellness activities, and marketing initiatives to attract new and returning guests.
• Stay up to date with global wellness and hospitality trends, integrating innovative ideas to enhance guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with all resort policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Foster collaboration and open communication within the team and across departments to ensure seamless guest service.
• Prepare and present monthly financial and operational reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement plans.
• Cultivate a positive departmental culture that emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic revenue initiatives, including package deals and seasonal offers, to maximize departmental profitability.
• Lead and train the team in effective upselling techniques to increase average spend per guest and drive retail sales performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 57 years of experience in spa or wellness management, with at least 23 years in a managerial role within a luxury resort environment.
• Experience in the Maldives or similar high-end island destinations will be an added advantage.
• Proven track record in managing a luxury spa or wellness centre, achieving both operational and financial objectives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop a multicultural team.
• Strong customer focus and a passion for creating exceptional and memorable guest experiences.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
• In-depth knowledge of international wellness trends, treatments, and spa operations is essential.
