A typical day as a Depot Administration Assistant :

  • Administration duties such as order processing, checking order financials and documentation.
  • Stock management – checking stock availability, order and replenish where required.
  • Ensuring supplies are distributed within a timely manner and in line with regulatory standards such as Basis (chemical storage and distribution) and HSE.
  • Effectively deal with Trade Counter enquiries and cash associated with.
  • Review, monitor and maintain accurate reporting records in relation to monies and stock.
  • Ensure security of company cash, stock and property.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the depot and sales team, ensuring effective communication.
  • Maintain relationships with Third Party Logistics suppliers, supporting from an administration perspective also.
  • Act as a step up in the absence of the Depot Supervisor.

  • IT Literate and experience with working on stock management systems
  • BASIS Qualification (Desirable)
  • Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desirable)
