We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Google Workspace Migration Support Specialist to assist in the planning, execution, and support of email and data migrations to Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with migration tools, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong understanding of cloud-based collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute migrations from legacy systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, IMAP) to Google Workspace.
  • Provide technical support during pre-migration, migration, and post-migration phases.
  • Configure and manage Google Workspace services including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Admin Console.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, data integrity, and user access.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth migration processes.
  • Train end-users and provide documentation on Google Workspace features and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to ensure optimal adoption and functionality.
  • Maintain detailed records of migration activities and support tickets.

Experience:

  • Experience supporting a migration from Microsoft to Google
  • 5 years of experience in IT support or cloud services, with a focus on Google Workspace.
  • Proven experience with Google Workspace administration and migration projects.
  • Familiarity with migration tools such as Google Workspace Migrate, CloudM, BitTitan, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, email protocols (IMAP, SMTP), and authentication methods (OAuth, SSO).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
