About the job Windows L2 Engineer _ Thailand
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration, with at least 2 years in enterprise environments (200+ servers).
- Willingness to participate in rotational on-call shifts (nights/weekends) for incident response.
- Understanding of SLAs, RTO/RPO, and escalation procedures for Windows systems.
- Experience with Windows-focused monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) for performance tracking.
- Ability to work in multicultural, geographically dispersed teams (APAC experience is a plus).
- Must have working experience in a different culture
- Working knowledge in-depth experience of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Service Request and Problem management) and ITSM tool (ServiceNow)
- Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with various stakeholders as part of an APAC team e.g. DCS-related planning and implementation, security teams, service management teams, application teams, country IT teams and others
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in the business context
- Expertise in managing various versions of Windows Server (2012, 2016, and 2019), including the ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot in complex environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V and or VMware, for effective resource management and system consolidation.

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for hybrid solutions and understanding of the banking sector's approach to cloud adoption.
- Strong analytical abilities, with an aptitude for diagnosing and resolving complex issues efficiently.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment, with a focus on prioritizing responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are highly advantageous and reflect a strong commitment to technical excellence and ongoing professional development.
