Practice Overview

The firm's Business Litigation group represents clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to emerging businesses across a broad spectrum of industries both nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will work on a diverse mix of matters, including:

  • Government enforcement investigations
  • Healthcare enforcement matters
  • Commercial litigation
  • Civil litigation
  • Class actions
  • Trade regulation matters
  • Internal and regulatory investigations
  • Complex business disputes

Industries served include healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, education, and other highly regulated sectors.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified candidates will have:

  • At least two years of relevant litigation experience
  • Experience handling government enforcement matters
  • Civil litigation experience in sophisticated matters
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Healthcare enforcement experience is preferred, but not required.

Additional experience with the following is highly valued:

  • Drafting dispositive and other substantive motions
  • Managing complex discovery
  • Conducting or defending depositions
  • Investigating and responding to government inquiries
  • Court appearances and litigation strategy

Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience are considered strong pluses.

Massachusetts bar admission is required.

Compensation

For Massachusetts-based candidates, the anticipated base salary range is approximately $190,000-$202,500, depending upon experience, class year, and overall qualifications.
