We are working with a regional law firm with offices in the tri-state area and New England, seeking a Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience focused on insurance coverage litigation to join their Boston, MA office.

Their ideal candidate has at least three years of insurance coverage litigation experience, preferably in a law firm environment. This is a unique opportunity to join a respected team with deep expertise in complex insurance coverage litigation. From day one, you'll gain meaningful, hands-on experience alongside top AV-rated attorneys. You'll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload from start to finish-drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, managing discovery, conducting legal research, taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions, preparing for and assisting in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials, working closely with clients, experts and fellow attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies, and working alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management.

Candidates should have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Massachusetts Bar, or sufficient UBE score to be admitted to the jurisdiction, upon hire, and at least three years of insurance coverage litigation experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts. Experience drafting comprehensive coverage opinions and handling complex coverage disputes involving commercial general liability and other lines of insurance. Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions, strong attention to detail, stellar written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests, is crucial.
