Junior to Mid-Level Structured Finance Attorney (CLO Focus)
Job Description:
We are working with a premier global law firm seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Structured Finance and Private Credit practice in New York. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-profile transactions involving CLOs, private credit facilities, syndicated lending arrangements, and other complex structured credit products for leading financial institutions, asset managers, and investors.
The practice is known for handling cutting-edge domestic and cross-border transactions in a highly collaborative environment that provides meaningful client exposure, substantive responsibility, and significant opportunities for professional growth from the outset.
Associates in this group are deeply involved in all phases of transactions and regularly work alongside experienced practitioners on innovative and market-leading matters. Representative responsibilities include:
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating CLOs, private credit facilities, syndicated loan agreements, and credit insurance arrangements
- Managing key aspects of structured finance transactions from inception through closing
- Advising clients on legal and regulatory issues affecting structured credit products in U.S. and international markets
- Collaborating with attorneys across finance, capital markets, and investment-related practices on complex transactions
- Assisting with the development of new and evolving credit and financing structures
- Monitoring legal and market developments impacting structured finance and private credit products
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of structured finance experience, including exposure to CLOs, direct lending, private credit, syndicated loans, and/or related financing transactions, preferably gained at a sophisticated law firm. Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and transaction management skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. New York Bar admission required.

Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, with an anticipated salary range of approximately $235,000 to $365,000, plus bonus eligibility.
