Health and Safety Business Partner

We are working with Lampton Services, a company wholly owned by the Borough of Hounslow to deliver waste & recycling, repairs & maintenance, homes, greenspace and leisure services.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Health & Safety Business Partner to join the waste & recycling team to:

• Promote a positive safety culture
• Review and develop health and safety strategy, policies and systems
• Ensure compliance with legislation
• Monitor performance, support audits and inspections
• Investigate incidents and develop preventative actions

This is a key role in the Health and Safety business team that also involves working closely with the Group Head of Health & Safety and the senior management team to advise on health and safety across the whole organisation.

You will need:

• Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice
• Experience providing proactive health and safety advice (ideally within the waste sector)
• Professional H&S qualification – ideally NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ equivalent
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Attendance in the office at Cranford is required 2 days a week, 1 day in the Feltham office and 2 days work from home.
