Job Summary

Join a high-impact cloud engineering team driving enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on Azure expert passionate about automation, security, and modern virtual desktop environments, with the opportunity to design, deploy, and optimize cutting-edge cloud infrastructures.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise-grade Microsoft Azure environments across networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
• Deliver enterprise landing zones using Azure Policy, management groups, RBAC, and governance guardrails.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or Bicep integrated with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including host pools, app groups, FSLogix profiles, Azure Files or Azure NetApp Files, scaling plans, and AVD Insights monitoring.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID solutions, including Conditional Access, PIM, and app registrations.
• Implement and maintain Azure security services such as Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Key Vault.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, identity, and platform-related issues in client-facing enterprise environments.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients while maintaining excellent communication and punctuality for meetings and project deliverables.

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience engineering on Microsoft Azure across networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.

• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial)
• Proven experience delivering enterprise cloud solutions and governance frameworks.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure security best practices.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in client-facing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and Purview.
• Experience with Copilot readiness/governance, Copilot Studio development, or Microsoft Foundry.
• Knowledge of AKS/Kubernetes, App Service/Functions, or cloud data stores such as SQL MI and Cosmos DB.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (or SC-200/SC-300/SC-100).
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Microsoft 365 Certified credentials (e.g., Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
