Job Summary
Join us as a Senior QA Engineer and take ownership of quality across modern digital agriculture platforms. Youll shape testing strategies, drive shift-left practices, and champion engineering excellence in a collaborative, product-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Evolve quality strategies across backend, frontend, and mobile platforms.
• Drive shift-left practices by embedding QA early in discovery and design.
• Define and uphold the Definition of Done with cross-functional teams.
• Champion shared quality ownership across engineeringQA as a mindset.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for APIs, web, and mobile.
• Ensure strong test coverage and performance in CI pipelines.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions.
• Foster a quality-first culture within team rituals and decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation, preferably in senior or lead roles.
• Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being in time for meetings is crucial
• Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Robust backend test solutions using Node.js / NestJS
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest.
• Execute end-to-end testing workflows with Cypress or Playwright to ensure complete user journey validation.
• Build with React and, ideally, React Native
• Proven expertise designing scalable automation frameworks and testing architectures.
• Experience maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• In-depth knowledge of APIs, backend systems, cloud environments, and observability tools.
• Strong sense of ownership, engineering best practices, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Background or interest in agriculture or agronomy.
• Experience with geospatial data, crop nutrition models, or agronomic workflows.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures (DocumentDB, RBAC/ABAC, etc.).

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
