About the job Senior Content Marketing Manager
Were looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to build, manage, measure and optimize the content engine machine for client's market-leading Silo platform. You're a fit if you thrive in fast-paced environments, are passionate about AI as a force multiplier for content leverage, relish the challenge of engaging niche ICPs, use cases, and communities from TOFU through BOFU, and are obsessed with content performance metrics.
You will build a content-rich funnel focused on specific buyer journeys, from unaware to educated to moved to converted to evangelical. Our users and buyers are specialists operating in fields where tradecraft and know-how are king. Appealing to them requires engaging as specialists ourselves. You will partner with the GTM teams internal and external SMEs to produce and amplify ICP-specific content across the marketing funnel and across channels.
Responsibilities:
- Content Planning: Working with stakeholders and SMEs, define the content marketing roadmap and editorial calendar aligned to our ICPs (size + vertical + use case) and for full funnel user/buyer journey optimization, including SEO best practices -- from awareness to consideration to conversion to retention and upsell.
- Content Production: Leverage internal and external SMEs for initial asset creation and partner with our existing external designer, video producer, and content editor to scale output. Oversee the editing, production and enablement of compelling, original content such as blog posts, videos, thought leadership pieces, case studies, solution briefs, newsletters, whitepapers, webinars and nurture emails. Ensure that content assets are not built and distributed in isolation -- that theres a defined linkage between them across the buyer journey for a given ICP.
- Content Activation and Amplification: Adapt and optimize individual assets for use across multiple platforms using channel best practices, including the website, social media, blog, YouTube, sales / SDR use, email, etc. Leverage tools such as AI to repurpose content across ICPs and channels to maximize a piece of content's value while maintaining authenticity and quality.
- Content Performance & Optimization: Track, analyze and report on content performance and buyer journey metrics across all stages of the funnel. Use data insights and learnings to identify areas for improvement, inform content plans, optimize content creation, and improve ROI.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in B2B tech content marketing, with at least 3 years in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, startup environment.
- Proven experience creating high-value ICP and channel-specific content across different platforms that delivers measurable results.
- A deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and the role of content in facilitating the journey of a prospect through the pipeline to conversion and revenue.
- Track record of using a data-driven approach with experience tracking and optimizing content performance
- Strong SEO know-how and content distribution strategies
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, SEO best practices, and analytics platforms.
- Personal enthusiasm for AI tools, with hands-on experience using them for content marketing leverage
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
- Preferred cybersecurity content experience targeting Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), Security Operations Center (SOC), and fraud & brand abuse teams.
