About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Corporate AV Engineer / Technical Estimator to join our growing team in Clark, Pampanga. This is a highly technical, office-based role supporting a leading Australian corporate events and AV production company.

As the technical backbone of the business, you will work directly with senior Australian leadership to transform complex event requirements into detailed technical solutions, floorplans, equipment allocations, and commercial quotations.

This is a backend-focused position with minimal client interaction during the initial stages. The primary focus is technical planning, estimating, operational support, and event engineering. As you develop within the role, opportunities may arise to support client-facing discussions and venue partnerships.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Estimating & Quoting

  • Analyze client briefs and design complete AV solutions independently.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed equipment quotations for corporate events.
  • Calculate equipment requirements down to individual components, including:
    • Audio systems
    • Video systems
    • LED walls
    • Signal processors
    • Rigging components
    • Power distribution
    • Cabling and accessories
  • Produce high volumes of quotations while maintaining accuracy and profitability.
  • Develop estimates for both small-scale corporate meetings and large multi-room conferences, exhibitions, and gala events.

Technical Design & Event Planning

  • Create detailed event floorplans, room layouts, and staging configurations.
  • Produce technical drawings and signal flow diagrams.
  • Ensure all designs comply with venue requirements and emergency egress regulations.
  • Assist in planning technical footprints for large corporate venues, convention centers, and exhibition spaces.

Operations & Logistics Support

  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager to verify equipment allocations and labor scheduling.
  • Review project requirements against workforce capabilities and staffing plans.
  • Ensure technicians receive complete project documentation and setup instructions prior to event deployment.
  • Audit inventory and resource planning to ensure operational efficiency.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain:
  • Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
  • Work Health & Safety (WHS) documentation
  • Risk assessments
  • Project compliance records
  • Support post-event reconciliation and documentation processes.
  • Coordinate with Finance to review completed projects and validate labor allocations against quoted scopes.

Administrative & Communication Support

  • Monitor shared company inboxes and assist with project administration.
  • Review incoming project requests, technical inquiries, and tender opportunities.
  • Escalate requests to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.


Required Experience

  • Corporate AV Industry Experience (Required)
  • Candidates must have extensive experience within high-end corporate AV, event production, staging, or venue operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Corporate event production
    • Large-format projection systems
    • LED wall installations
    • Broadcast video switching
    • Audio engineering systems
    • Complex signal routing
    • Truss and rigging configurations
    • Conference and gala event production
  • Ideal backgrounds include:
    • Senior AV Engineer

AV Rental & Inventory Systems (Required)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Corporate AV industry experience
  • Proven experience in technical estimating and quoting
  • Strong technical planning and event design capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and cost-management mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
