The core role:

Our Medical Writers are responsible for:

• Developing scientifically accurate and compelling editorial content to support both medical and marketing pharmaceutical education and communications

• Gaining an in-depth understanding of the client’s product and brand strategy, the therapeutic landscape, and the competitor environment

• Managing projects through the correct editorial process to ensure we deliver content of the highest standard that meets the client’s aims and objectives

• Delivering medical education projects tailored to specific audiences and formats, with the opportunity to expand into promotional, digital, and market access projects

• Effective teamwork with both editorial and account colleagues

• Liaising with clients and external experts, demonstrating excellent client service

• Helping the agency to innovate, evolve and develop

Key things we are looking to see in an application: 

• A life sciences MSc, PhD or clinical qualification, and/or previous experience as a Medical Writer 

• A life sciences BSc also considered 

• Details of research and/or work at a previous agency (including details of clients with which you have worked, therapy area experience, project types, and audiences for which you have written) 

• Strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and flexibility in response to the needs of clients and teams, and to changing situations 

• A basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the clinical development process
