Position Overview:
You will oversee and manage key client accounts, with a focus on the Dis-Chem account. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy in execution, and mentoring an Account Executive to achieve team goals. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in promotional catalogue management and data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurate Brief Completion:

  • Complete client briefs accurately, ensuring all required details are captured and communicated clearly.
  • Work with internal teams to address any unclear requirements.

PO and CE Management:

  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Cost Estimates (CEs) accurately and on time.
  • Close jobs and ensure billing is completed promptly.

Thorough Checks Against Briefs:

  • Perform detailed checks against briefs to verify all aspects of the promotion, and ensuring pricing, literals, and deliverables are correct.
  • Resolve discrepancies as needed.

Promotional Catalogue Job Management:

  • Manage promotional catalogue jobs independently, ensuring they are completed on time and meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to streamline workflows.

Shared Drive Management:

  • Organize and maintain the shared drive space, ensuring all promotional information is stored systematically and updated regularly.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Manage and mentor an Account Executive, providing guidance and support to help them meet their KPIs and grow professionally.

Data Merge Proficiency:

  • Understand and execute data merge processes, ensuring data is organized, validated, and integrated correctly.
  • Deliver accurate and consistent outputs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in account management, preferably within retail.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and execute client briefs efficiently.
  • Experience issuing POs and CEs, as well as managing job closures and billing.
  • Familiarity with promotional catalogue production.
  • Proficiency in managing shared drives and organizing large volumes of information.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide team members effectively.
  • Understanding of data merge tools and techniques.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience working on retail accounts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management tools is beneficial.
  • Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
