Job Overview:
We are looking for a Mid-level Strategist with a passion for storytelling, a strong grasp of cultural trends, and experience in both consumer and corporate PR. The ideal candidate understands how to craft compelling narratives that build brand reputation, can navigate and manage a crisis, drive engagement, and create meaningful connections with diverse audiences across influence, social and PR.
In this role, youll support the strategy team in developing insights-led PR campaigns, influencer programs, and corporate reputation strategies. You'll collaborate with account, creative, media and clients' teams locally and globally to ensure our work is both strategic and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development & Insights
- Conduct research on cultural trends, consumer behaviour, and industry landscapes to inform PR and Influence strategies.
- Assist in developing frameworks and campaign strategies for consumer brands and corporate clients in influence, social and PR.
- Support the creation of messaging frameworks, brand narratives, and positioning strategies.
PR & Communications Strategy
- Help craft strategies that balance earned, owned, and paid media approaches.
- Identify and analyse key audience segments to tailor messaging and media reach.
- Support influencer strategies for both consumer and corporate clients.
- Assist in crafting compelling brand stories, key messages, and press materials.
Client & Industry Engagement
- Provide strategic recommendations for PR activations, partnerships, and media opportunities.
- Keep up with media trends and journalist/influencer landscapes to inform PR strategies.
- Support new business efforts by contributing to pitches, proposals, and strategic recommendations.
- Craft award-winning case studies for industry awards, showcasing impactful PR and communications work.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer PR with a strong grasp of corporate PR.
- Strong understanding of earned media, influencer marketing, and brand reputation management.
- A passion for culture, trends, and brand storytelling.
- Strong research and analytical skills to uncover insights that drive strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, extract insights, and apply them to campaigns and reports.
- Excellent writing and communication skills (messaging frameworks, strategic decks).
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
- Familiarity with PR and Influence measurement tools and media analytics is an advantage.
- Experience in working with media, influencers, and corporate stakeholders is a plus.
