We are seeking a dynamic and talented Retail Account Manager to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, with a specific focus on retail clients. As a Retail Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of retail campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail clients, understanding their business objectives, and serving as the main point of contact.
- Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for growth and propose effective retail marketing strategies.
- Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement retail marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns, including coordination with creative teams, media planning, and monitoring campaign performance.
- Strategic Thinking:
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop innovative and effective retail solutions that drive results.
- Budget Management:
- Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring the delivery of high-quality campaigns within budget constraints.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and digital, to ensure seamless execution of retail campaigns.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the agency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail account management within an advertising or marketing agency.
- Strong understanding of retail marketing trends and consumer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
