About the Role:

Superunion South Africa is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Creative Director to lead our creative team and deliver exceptional work that exceeds client expectations. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading the creative vision, driving the creative direction of our agency, and ensuring that our work is strategically sound, innovative and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative team in developing and executing outstanding creative solutions that meet client objectives and exceed expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor to clients on all creative matters.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver creative solutions that are innovative, strategic, and on brief.
  • Develop and implement creative processes and best practices that ensure quality and efficiency in the delivery of all creative work.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence within the creative team, and inspire them to produce their best work.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in creative design, branding, and marketing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a creative leadership role within a brand agency or similar environment.
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating outstanding creative direction, branding, and design.
  • Deep understanding of branding, marketing, and design principles, and ability to apply them strategically to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with experience in building and maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop creative teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and to build strong relationships across the agency.
