We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager with a strong background in traffic management to join our team.

Role Overview: The Program Manager with Traffic Experience at Ogilvy Cape Town will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of projects within the agency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of project management, traffic management, and agency operations. They will collaborate closely with various teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage and lead the execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectations.
  • Delivery Management: Develop and implement effective traffic management processes to optimize resource allocation, workload distribution, and project timelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with creative, accounts, production, and other cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project workflows, fostering open communication and teamwork.
  • Scope and Budget Management: Monitor project scopes and budgets, identifying potential risks and proactively implementing solutions to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Client Interaction: Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met, while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Quality Control: Uphold the agency's high standards of creative output and overall project quality by implementing rigorous quality control processes.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders and clients, including project status, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine project management processes to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in program management and traffic management within a creative agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and understanding client needs.
