Job Summary

Design DTP will be responsible for designing and producing various types of print and digital materials using Adobe Creative Suite. As a designer you must be able to come up with creative solutions to monthly campaigns and other elements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce various types of print and digital materials such as catalogues, POS, print and press elements as well as some digital elements.
  • Create and modify Creative elements to integrate into various print and digital elements.
  • Ensure that designs are visually appealing, consistent, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Edit graphics, such as photographs and illustrations
  • Work in a team on monthly catalogues and other printed paraphernalia
  • Work on page layouts, and make changes to those layouts as required
  • Learn how to data merge
  • Provide hi-res PDFs or open files to required vendors ie. client, printers, newspapers etc.
  • Be able to Ad/MediaSend a job to either the printers or newspaper publications
  • Collaborate with Traffic Managers and other team members to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Review final designs and layouts to ensure they are error-free and ready for publication or distribution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and software to continuously improve skills and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Must have a keen eye for design, layout, and typography, as well as the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Design DTP will collaborate with Traffic Managers, Client Service and other team members to deliver high-quality materials that meet client specifications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and printing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow creative brief.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Be proactive in sorting any technical issues with IT
  • Be a team player
  • Concentration, accuracy and great attention to detail is mandatory
  • Due to the nature of the business be able to work overtime
