Overview:

Our client has a Consumer Interaction Center that has a team that is responsible for customer service on a telephonic, web and social media level.The team supports the clients consumers with complaints, enquiries, requests, suggestions, compliments via Telephone, Webmail, Email and Social platforms via our community managers.

The analyst will monitor online conversations, activities, trends in consumer discussions or behaviour and various social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). The position requires the individual to take on an advisory role to the client based on insights gained.

Key to this role is the ability to provide data-driven insights which result in specific action plans and quantifiable business improvement. The analyst must be comfortable in conveying social media analytics and learnings in verbal and written settings. The ideal analyst is very comfortable with spreadsheets and sees the stories within the data.

Show an obsession for social media and enjoy learning what truly works. It is very important that the analyst possesses the ability to create visually clear presentations, combining data with content snapshots. Exceptional critical reasoning skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to consolidate quality information in a deadline-driven environment are important.

You'd need to be able to balance time for thinking with time for execution, and being willing to learn as you go, being naturally curious enough to stay progressive in your work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Monitor online conversations and activities to report on trends in consumer discussion. Create structure from a mass of seemingly chaotic data, providing the client with valuable insights that are compelling, actionable, and often unexpected. Create daily, weekly and monthly reports, and any ad-hoc sentiment and performance reports. Create and maintain social listening monitors (by ensuring that monitors are set up correctly and that accurate and relevant data is being analysed). Cultivate a meaningful relationship with internal team and clients.

Specifications

  • Cultivate a meaningful relationship with internal team and clients.
  • Analyse and visualize data off social analytics outputs and directly from social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Source, validate, manipulate, and understand social media data to determine the key drivers behind customer behaviour and perception.
  • Clearly and concisely visualize insights in such a manner that it relays a story, often in infographic format, to allow the business to effortlessly consume it.
  • Pinpoint Trends/patterns within consumer behaviour.
  • Writing and presentation creation skills essential.

Requirements

  • Degree in (or related to) marketing communication research.
  • Languages - English ( Arabic & French advantageous)
  • Proficiency (at least 3 years of hands on experience) in Sprinklr (Listening and Reporting).
  • Familiarity with Newswhip, Youscan, Helixa, ViralMoment, Netbase, CreatorIQ is a plus.
  • Working with Generative AI for social listening and data analytics is a plus.
  • Critical thinking, a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, and an ability to create easy to understand, actionable reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
