We are seeking a talented Studio Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Production/UK Studio manager, you will play a vital role in managing the Creative Content and Design resource in our South Africa office and optimizing efficiency between the the global hub and the UK, as well as coordinating with internal and external partners.

As the Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the creative content/design department and ensuring seamless coordination between teams. Your primary focus will be managing the design team while maintaining high-quality outputs. With your keen eye for aesthetics, creativity, and design, you will ensure that all projects meet our agency's standards of excellence.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams within the agency, including designers, creatives, project managers, and client service. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be key in fostering collaboration and building strong working relationships with these teams. By effectively coordinating resources and facilitating open communication, you will ensure that the department operates as a unit, delivering outstanding results on every project.

Maintaining the agency's high standards of excellence will be a top priority. As the Studio Manager, you will implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that all design production outputs are of the highest calibre. This will involve conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback to the team, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices. Your ability to identify opportunities for process optimisation and workflow improvement will contribute to the continuous improvement of the production departments operations.

This role will manage the process and governance across our global network ensuring we always adhere to our client compliance obligations when transferring files and information between offices/departments. You will be responsible for advising the business and our clients on best practice and maintain documentation for each client around ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in studio or production management, preferably within the digital or tech
  • agency landscape.
  • Experience working alongside a resource management team ensuring seamless processes are being adhered to
  • Setting up and managing processes
  • Managing the day to day workflow of the design and creative team in South Africa
  • Strong background in design principles, aesthetics, and creative processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in coordinating projects and managing timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and
  • stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.
  • Keen eye for aesthetics, creativity, and design to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Familiarity with the digital and tech agency world, including knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
