An innovative E-Commerce company established in 2019—with a strong footprint in the pet lifestyle, health, and beauty sectors—is seeking a dynamic leader for its Middle Eastern expansion. Based in Bangkok, you will take full ownership of the UAE market, scaling brands that range from high-fashion pet accessories to natural grooming products and premium pet food.

As the General Manager for UAE, you will be the driving force behind our growth in the UAE. This is a "hands-on" leadership role where you will manage a lean, fast-moving team and take full accountability for the P&L, commercial strategy, and operational excellence of our regional business.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Sales Leadership

  • Own and deliver ambitious sales targets across retail, B2B, online, and telesales channels.
  • Develop key accounts and strategic partnerships within the UAE and surrounding markets.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and conversion rates, implementing corrective actions to ensure sustainable growth.

Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Manage stock planning for both proprietary and distributed brands to balance cash flow and product availability.
  • Supervise logistics and delivery execution, including complex import/export and regulatory compliance.

Financial & Strategic Oversight

  • Hold full P&L responsibility, managing budgets, margins, and cost structures.
  • Translate global group objectives into actionable business plans for the UAE.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and build a scalable operating model for future expansion.

Team Leadership

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team covering sales, finance, and warehouse/delivery.
  • Set clear KPIs and foster a culture of accountability and entrepreneurial spirit.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 7–10 years in general management, commercial management, or senior operational roles.
  • Industry Background: A proven track record in sales-led businesses, preferably in FMCG, food, pet food, or consumer goods.
  • Skill Set: Hands-on experience with multi-channel sales, P&L ownership, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Regional Knowledge: Direct experience managing businesses within the UAE or Middle East is highly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
