This initiative integrates various production departments and studios from Omnicom's creative and media agencies, including Omnicom Studios, eg+, Designory, Mother Tongue, and Link9.

Job Description: As a Project Engineer at Omnicom Production, you will manage the design and implementation of material handling equipment for a wide range of customers and specifications. You will possess, maintain, and grow knowledge of a wide variety of technologies, using CAD and MS Office software to create various types of documentation. You will use business management software to handle various tasks related to manufacturing and purchasing. You will work closely with equipment and controls engineering teams to ensure customer specifications are being followed and maintain consistency between vendors. You will participate in the development of production methods and fixtures, work within a budget, attend meetings, review and maintain design documentation, and participate in quality control inspections and system testing. preference will be given to applicants that reside in Northeastern Michigan or those that can easily commute to Northeastern Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage design and implementation of material handling equipment
  • Use CAD and MS Office software to create various types of documentation
  • Use business management software for manufacturing and purchasing tasks
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Provide on-call 24/7 support during active installation windows
  • Work closely with equipment and controls engineering teams
  • Participate in the development of production methods and fixtures
  • Work within a budget to deliver safe and efficient products on time
  • Attend meetings and provide input and updates
  • Review, produce, and maintain design documentation
  • Participate in quality control inspections and system testing

Skills:

  • Skills using Solidworks and AutoCAD to generate models and prints
  • Proficiency in CAD and MS Office software
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a holistic approach
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams and vendors

Knowledge:

  • Wide variety of technologies related to material handling equipment
  • Business management software for creating Bill of Materials, internal notifications, quotes, job-related information, and inventory data
  • Customer specifications and system design requirements

Experience

Preferred

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and functional design principles.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Education

Required

  • High School or better

Preferred

  • Associates or better in Engineering or related field

Ability to Implement:

  • Create manufacturing drawings, models, customer approval drawings, instructional documentation, product testing and inspection documentation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
