Algorithm Engineer Intern

Responsibilities:

• Research new image and color processing or computer vision techniques and technologies for digital camera systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in designing and developing algorithms for image and color processing or computer vision applications.
• Contribute to expanding our image sensor solutions by exploring enhancements in functionality, quality, and performance.
• Participate in image quality tuning and measurement tasks to optimize system performance.
• Document algorithms, processes, and findings to support team knowledge sharing and project continuity.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a BS/MS/PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on image processing, computer vision, or color science.
• Familiarity with camera image processing algorithms or computer vision techniques through coursework, projects, or personal study.
• Basic understanding of colorimetry and image sensing technology; eagerness to deepen expertise in these areas.
• Some experience with mobile camera systems, imaging projects and spectral imaging techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic machine learning and deep learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming, demonstrated through academic or personal projects.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to research and problem-solving.
