Interim Cath Lab Director - Central California
We are seeking a visible and team-oriented Interim Cath Lab Director in Central California for a busy hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for a clinically strong nurse leader who thrives on supporting staff through change and helps drive day-to-day operational excellence in high-acuity units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct leadership and supervision of daily operations for the Cath Lab in collaboration.
- Act as a resource to nursing staff, promoting clinical best practices, teamwork, and consistent patient-centered care.
- Support staffing, patient flow, and acuity-based assignments to ensure safe and efficient unit operations.
- Identify and help implement performance improvement opportunities related to quality, safety, and patient experience.
- Participate in coaching and mentoring efforts, while supporting ongoing staff engagement and development.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Director in California
- Strong clinical foundation with the ability to lead through influence and maintain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with staff and support frontline operations.
- Knowledgeable in patient safety protocols, EMR systems, and nursing workflows in acute care settings.
- Availability to begin within 2-4 weeks from date of offer and to be on-site in Central California for the duration of the engagement.
