Interim Director of Nursing - Trauma Services - Los Angeles 

Join a large nonprofit hospital in Los Angeles that is seeking an experienced Interim Director of Nursing to lead its Trauma Services program. This is a high-impact role supporting a Level II Trauma Center. The Interim DON will report to the CNO and provide oversight for trauma operations, performance improvement, registry compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal leader brings a strong trauma nursing background, excellent leadership skills, and comfort operating in fast-paced, complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Level II Trauma Center with newly expanded emergency department and trauma bays
• Oversight of clinical and operational functions for the trauma nursing team
• Close partnership with ED, trauma physicians, trauma program leadership, and senior executives
• Focus on compliance, performance improvement, and trauma program development

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Active CA RN license
• BSN required with Master's degree preferred
• Available to be on-site in Los Angeles for the duration of the engagement and able to start within 2-4 weeks.
