Interim NICU Manager - Night Shift

Interim NICU Manager - Greater Los Angeles, CA

Night shift position - 11p-7:30a

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Interim NICU Manager to lead a Level III NICU at a respected hospital in the Greater Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for a steady, clinically strong leader who can step in to stabilize and support staff while the hospital conducts a permanent search.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on leadership and day-to-day management for the NICU unit

• Support nursing staff through high-acuity patient care and complex cases

• Partner closely with neonatologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure clinical excellence and continuity of care

• Focus on staff engagement, team cohesion, and operational consistency

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and quality standards

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven leadership experience in a Level III (or higher) NICU setting

• Active California RN license 

• Calm, communicative, and team-oriented leadership style

• Full-time, onsite interim role in the Los Angeles area with travel home.
• Ability to start within 2-4 weeks from date of offer.
