Director of Critical Care Services - Redding, California

We are seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Director of Critical Care Services to lead the ICU and Stepdown teams at a well-respected community hospital in Redding, CA. This permanent leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee a busy Critical Care with an active trauma ICU. The ideal candidate is a visible leader who values clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and team engagement in a high-accountability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all critical care and stepdown services.
• Support and mentor the Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Partner with local critical access facilities for trauma patients.
• Champion quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance across all critical care areas.
• Lead department planning, budgeting, staffing, and development to support organizational goals and community needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Registered Nurse with an active California license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years of critical care leadership experience, ideally in a hospital setting with trauma ICU and CVICU.
• Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams, building strong provider relationships, and driving measurable outcomes.
