Interim Regulatory Compliance Manager - Central California
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regulatory Compliance leader for a hospital in Central California through December 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements processes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations.
- Facilitates the coordination of all survey visits, both unannounced and scheduled, by regulatory agencies.
- Manages the process for review and revision of house-wide policies to ensure all policies are current in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
- Develops a tracer methodology program within the organization which incorporates National Patient Safety Goals (NSPG) and includes a process for conducting mock surveys.
- Serves as the site expert for all regulatory standards, maintaining current knowledge for standards/requirements changes/updates.
- Provides coordination for the Joint Commission Periodic Performance Review process by overseeing the process of compiling the information necessary.
- Develops and implements education for leadership, associates and medical staff regarding accreditation standards.
- Participates in system Regulatory Compliance meetings and other network committees to support accreditation actions.
- Assures appropriate dissemination of standard information.
- Provides oversight to Joint Commission chapter leaders.
- Provides oversight for compliance with JC National Patient Safety Goals.
- Ensures policy and procedures are updated and consistent with regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience managing regulatory compliance within California
- Active CA RN and Bachelor's required
- Available to begin within 2-4 weeks and be on-site in Central California throughout the interim assignment.
