Job Title: Storeman

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £24 per hour – Umbrella

Contract: 6 rail periods with possible extension

We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient Storeman to join our team. As a Storeman, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of our store, ensuring that all necessary supplies and materials are readily available for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and supplies

- Maintaining accurate records of all inventory and tracking stock levels

- Organising and arranging materials in an orderly and accessible manner

- Issuing materials and supplies to relevant departments or individuals

- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials

- Conducting regular stock checks and identifying any discrepancies or shortages

- Maintaining a clean and organised store environment

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the store

- Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries when necessary

- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or store environment desirable

- Good communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations

- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
