About the Opportunity
One of the fastest-growing senior living organizations in the country is adding a Vice President of Health Services to its executive team. This organization has doubled its workforce in under two years, is actively expanding into new states, and is building a portfolio that will continue to scale. This is an executive seat with direct CEO access and genuine enterprise-level scope.
What You'll Do
- Provide executive-level operational oversight across 8+ senior living campuses throughout Ohio, with continued expansion underway
- Lead and develop 7 direct reports and approximately 20 indirect reports across Clinical Quality, Health Services, Facilities, Construction, Residential Services, Culinary, and Preschool
- Partner directly with the President/CEO to shape long-term growth strategy, including evaluation and integration of new campus acquisitions
- Set and enforce organization-wide standards for clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and resident experience across all service lines
- Drive fiscal performance through strategic budgeting, P&L accountability, and resource optimization across a multi-campus portfolio
- Lead regulatory readiness and compliance across federal, state, and local requirements — including proactive survey and audit preparedness
- Anticipate industry trends and emerging care models; champion technology adoption and operational innovation that advances the resident experience
- Build succession depth by identifying, developing, and retaining high-potential leaders at every level of the organization
- Represent the organization as an executive ambassador and thought leader in the senior living industry
What You'll Need
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, post-acute care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting
- 5+ years of multi-site or regional executive leadership with direct P&L accountability across multiple markets
- Proven track record leading organizations or divisions through significant growth, expansion, or transformation
- Deep expertise in clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and quality management across skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree (MHA or MBA) strongly preferred
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire geographically distributed, mission-driven teams
- Comfort with 50–70% travel across a multi-state portfolio
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence at all levels — from frontline care staff to board leadership
