About the Opportunity

Award winning Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Engineering Design firm, based in Columbus, OH is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for designing, and engineering HVAC projects involving new builds and renovations in higher education, healthcare, military, commercial, and industrial facilities. Qualified candidates will have a good working knowledge of both REVIT and AutoCAD and can take schematic drawings through construction documents. This candidate will be working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers on a daily basis. This person could have an architectural, structural, or MEP background.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement on all related BIM projects, files and models.
• Provide end-user training, support and leadership.
• Manage software products including but not limited to incorporating new version releases, maintaining legacy software, and customizing software for specific firm needs.
• Creation and maintenance of the software template files to assure standards.
• Conduct continuing education on BIM processes and its new technologies.
• Support project standards coordination with customers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering / CAD Design. Would also consider Architectural Degree with REVIT experience
• 2 years of REVIT drafting + design experience. MUST be able to put a set of drawings together and model
