Mission

Functional
Should have 7+ years of experience in manual B2B or B2C domain of testing and automating REST API, web applications automation and performance testing.
Put in place quality driven test strategy across Clients products by focusing on improving quality and speed of testing through automation and put in place the standards for automation in general (DOR, DOD etc for all existing projects and new projects).
2 years of experience to work with QA leads and Engineers to get the backlog from the squads and make sure automation is planned and delivered .
Take part in user story/tech story grooming
Ask Questions and clarifications during the grooming session ( 3-amigos)
Prepare Test Plan (high level scenarios) : ( include E2E and Negative tests )
Prepare Test data needed ( or ask for help if not clear)
Review Test Plan before starting the feature tests for every release with PO, Lead Tech and Country team ( optional) .
Update TestRail later to ensure all test cases are written for all requirements.
Prepare Automatic Tests ( Functional ) in UAT based on DEV changes and move it to STA and PRD
Complete the tests within the sprint based on test plan.
Raise bugs on Jira and share with DEV/PO/QA Lead.
Work on 70% on feature testing and 30% on automation ( % can vary but automation should not be skipped due to feature tests )
Should be responsible for functional and non-functional( performance )
Actively take part in release /quality criterias update process
Actively take part in Go/NO-GO
Co-ordinate and help Country tests in STA and PRD Beta and smoke tests.
Send daily /weekly QA status reports during the period of Test Execution.
Send Monthly QA KPI reports

Key Competencies & Ecosystems
Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
Strong experience in testing and maintaining product quality.
Understanding of Kafka Streaming is a plus.
Good Experience in UI automation using Robot Framework, Web app automation , selenium, postman , newman , REST API testing and Azure Pipelines using docker.
Good Experience in perf scripting and test reporting using Gatling and K6
Preferred programming languages scala and python
