We are looking for a Travel Consultant/Sales Admin to join our client's team in their Head Office on Dublin's Harcourt Street.

The Travel Consultant/Sales Admin is directly involved in the general administration, liaising with clients and answering to sales inquiries. 

Responsibilities:

  • Reacting promptly to customer inquiries and delivering excellent customer service
  • Providing a high level of product information
  • Finalising sales process
  • Resolving customer queries using my own initiative in a prompt manner
  • Liaising with partners at destinations to ensure the appropriate delivery of ground services
  • Processing passenger details in advance of travel
  • Participating on Sales & Marketing activities
  • Preparing sample itineraries and proposals in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Assisting colleagues in a prompt and helpful manner and in the best interest of the operation

Requirements:

  • Experience working with group tours and/or organising travel arrangements
  • Strong administration and excellent communication skills
  • Positive friendly character and excellent customer focus
  • Ability to react promptly to customer inquiries and close bookings
  • Strong knowledge of European destinations
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and reacting promptly to urgent needs
  • Strong computer skills
