We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deli Manager to come join our experienced management team in Dublin 12. The successful candidate will support the Fresh Food Manager in the execution of our fresh food strategy across our business.

Hours: 7am-2pm

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Fresh Food Manager in the day-to-day management and operations of multiple stores within the group.
  • Effectively support the deli teams, working closely with colleagues to deliver an exceptional standard of service.
  • Ensuring all HACCP and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to within all fresh food departments.
  • Understand, manage and control stock and waste management
  • Train, develop & coach all colleagues to the required standards in the fresh food departments
  • Ensure compliance with all legislation applicable to the industry.
  • Support in deli operations as required by the business.

Food Safety:

  • Ensure Food Safety management systems are implemented, maintained and monitored across all fresh food departments.
  • Ensure all HACCP and food safety audits are achieved in line with targets and required standards.
  • Liaise with external Food Safety Auditors as required to ensure compliance with Food Safety Act.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous management experience in a fresh food department is essential in order to be considered.
  • Must have a strong understanding of store financial reports e.g. sales reports, KPIs, traceability, records.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and add value to our teams.
