Job Descriptions :

  • Coordinate suppliers' compliance with ISCC (EU, PLUS, CORSIA) and INS certification requirements, specifically for Waste & Residue feedstocks:
  • Perform Risk Assessments using GRAS online tools, with a focus on land use change and feedstock origin.
  • Ensure correct registration of new suppliers (collecting mandatory Proof of Sustainability - PoS - and Self-Declarations).
  • Strictly monitor feedstock classification: ensure product coming from non-certified points of origin or high-risk regions is labelled as NON-SUSTAINABLE.
  • Verify and archive receipts of payment, weighbridge tickets, transport documents, and Annex VII (for UCO/POME) to ensure full traceability.
  • Manage and regularly update the Mass Balance inventory for incoming and outgoing certified products (e.g., Crude POME, Refined POME, POME-FAD, UCO, Refined UCO, Sludge Oil).
  • Provide training on ISCC and INS Principles to relevant stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Train and inform staff (company and suppliers) on sustainability tools and evolving regulatory frameworks (RED II/III).
  • Maintain an Up-to-Date Sustainability Management System (SMS): Regularly update procedures to reflect the specificities of the ISCC requirements and INS (Italian National Scheme).
  • Verify Logistic Compliance: Ensure the logistics team correctly handles Sustainability Declarations and traceability data for agri-residues and waste oils.
  • Audit Management: Organize and manage internal and external audits for ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, and INS certifications.
  • Documentation Preparation: Lead the preparation of all technical documentation required for the COMPANY's certification audits, ensuring zero non-conformities in traceability and GHG calculations.


Requirements :

  • Prior experience in Sustainability Certification specifically within the biofuels/bioenergy sector (ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, CORSIA, and INS/National Schemes).
  • Deep knowledge of Waste & Residue supply chains: Experience with Crude/Refined POME, POME-FAD, UCO, Refined UCO, Sludge Oil, and other Agri-residues.
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field with a focus on Bioenergy.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a trading house, refinery, or certification body.
  • Traceability Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex Mass Balance systems and differentiate between the traceability requirements of the INS scheme versus ISCC.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the differences between ISCC EU (regulated market), ISCC PLUS (circular economy/voluntary), and CORSIA (aviation), and their respective applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated experience in resolving challenges during audits (e.g., gaps in the chain of custody or feedstock classification).
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Indonesian (essential for managing local POME/UCO suppliers).
